Birthday Wishes!

My birthday is coming up, and instead of making up a boring list I thought I'd blog about my birthday wishes!! Being a summer baby, I tend to crave new teacher things for my birthday...there may be a theme that develops!!

Gift Cards:
Always a great idea for a gift. This year I'm really thinking about Barnes & Noble and Borders gift cards. I'd love to buy some new teaching books, and some new children's books to build my collection!
Tote Bags:
As great as purses may be..... I don't carry them very frequently. I do, however, love tote bags that can be used for school! This year I have a few different options that I am interested in!

Vera Bradley

I love Vera Bradley, and I've had quite a few pieces. This spring I found a tote that I absolutely loved...and it turned into a set that I have been wishing for!

This great tote is actually on sale!! I love the look, color, and style. I think it would be really functional for school too!
Large Tote
This mini tote is also on sale! These are the old canvas colors, so they are getting rid of them! When I saw this I immediately thought of Newport and being by the beach. Love it!!
Small Tote
Thanks J!!!! J got this for me for my anniversary - I LOVE it!!
To add some organization and ease of keeping track of my credit cards, cell phone, and money I chose this Carry It All wristlet in Blue Lagoon print. The colors go great with the deep blue of the totes, and it adds a pop of pattern and style to the combination!
Carry It All Wristlet

I have a lanyard for keys that matches the wristlet!

L.L. BeanLink
I created this tote on the L.L. Bean website and I am really excited about it. It is an extra large tote with a zip top. I chose the dark blue with a pink accent to give it a girly flare!! Add a nice CLF monogram and it would be perfect!

Art

I found a Beauty and the Beast Thomas Kinkade painting that I really love, unfortunately it is very expensive! I was searching on Amazon and I found this print, that is still pretty and is much less expensive!
Keurig

I would also really like a Keurig. It's something that I've considered for a while, and it did not end up on our wedding registry. J isn't sure it is something we need, but I used the one that my mom has to make iced tea and it was fantastic!!!!! I like the one my mom has, I think it is the B60 special edition one!
I have tried the sweet raspberry and sweet lemon black, but I would also like to try the half and half and the southern sweet!!! I totally think I could persuade J to like the Keurig if I had one!!! : )

Picture Frames

I am totally stealing this from one of my besties that had a bridal shower earlier this summer....she got this and I fell in LOVE with it. Not to mention that my walls are blank and bare and desperately need to be filled with my friends and family! This comes from Bed, Bath & Beyond- one of my favorite stores!

School Supplies!

They are fantastic, everyone loves them, and it's so fun to organize everything at the beginning of the year!! Here is something that you can never get enough of and that I would love to have!

Expo markers- any color! Kids love them, it's awesome to have a teacher set and a student set!

Technology

Ok, let's be serious...I'm not getting either of these things, but it is a wish list right?!?!

I would LOVE to have my own iPad....I think it would be fantastic!

I would also love a new macbook pro. I had one when I was working at G.A. and it was the best laptop ever!!!
